In Person Chiropractic Care

I offer in-person Chiropractic care out of The Wellness Studio, in North Calgary, in the community of Capitol Hill. My areas of focus include: Women’s Health, Pregnancy, Postpartum, Pediatrics + Family Wellness.

If you are new to Chiropractic, welcome! It is my goal to help you to feel comfortable from the moment that you enter our office. We believe that good customer service is essential to running a business and consider that to be of utmost importance.

It all starts with a new patient assessment. This gives you the opportunity to voice your concerns and then I will take you through an examination where we determine if your posture, range of motion, spine function or muscle tension (or a combination!) are contributing to your complaints. It is important to get to the root cause of the issue and develop a plan together.

Whether you are pregnant, postpartum or we are working with your newborn baby or child, it is always my goal to use gentle but effective techniques; using the least amount of force necessary to create the desired result.

Chiropractic care for babies involves very gentle, effective, sustained-contact adjustments. It looks a lot like a baby massage. Our goal is to restore motion, release muscle tension and balance the nervous system to encourage optimal health and wellness.

Build a Stronger Back + Core: for Women

Would you like to learn how to build a strong back and core? This class is specifically designed for women through all stages of life. The first half of the class covers relevant anatomy of the spine, core and nervous system. The second half you will learn the most effective stretches and exercises to build a strong and functional back and core— as well as time to practice. Bring with you a yoga mat and water bottle.

Posture | Core | Stretch for Kids: Parent + Child (age 6-12)

Have you noticed that your child slouches and has poor posture- but you are unsure how to help? This class will go through a 10 minute simple description of the spine, core and nervous system (in terms that kids can understand) followed by 30 minutes of practical exercise instruction. This simple program will be easy to implement and continue to practice at home.

Baby Development through Play: Parent + Baby (0-12mo)

Would you like to learn ways to encourage and support baby as they progress through movement milestones? From tummy time to rolling, crawling, cruising and walking; this class will cover the basics of spinal and nervous system development as well as have an opportunity to learn and practice simple at-home exercises. We will troubleshoot, answer questions and discuss any specific challenges.
