Postpartum
Postpartum
So, you have had your baby and now you are wondering how to regain strength in your core, body and pelvic floor?
It is important to remember that there is no need to rush into an intense exercise plan. Slow is fast when it comes to strengthening after baby. You may be feeling a lot of tension in the neck, shoulders and back from the hours and hours of holding and feeding your new beautiful baby. It is important to ensure the body is in good alignment after the birthing process – so that you can enjoy this special time with the baby and optimize your body for healing.
Some of the common areas that I help my practice members in Postpartum include:
Relieving tension in the Neck and Shoulders
Regaining strength in the low back and hips
Tail bone or pubic symphysis pain from labour
Core Activation and Strengthening
Diastasis Recti and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
